Steps to perform elephant exercise:
- Begin by sitting down the child comfortably in a chair with back straight and shoulders relaxed.
- Tell to Extend one arm straight out in front little above shoulder, with palm facing down.
- Ask the kid to lower head to gently rest it on the shoulder of the arm they just extended.
- Now with the extended hand make fist and stick out the index finger.
- Ask the kid to trace the shape of a sleeping “8” (infinite) with the index finger in the air.
- As they trace the “8”, tell to gaze fixed on the fingertip, moving slowly and smoothly. Repeat this motion for several repetitions.
- After completing several repetitions, switch sides. Perform daily for improvement in focus, concentration, and eye contact.
