Steps to perform elephant exercise:

  1. Begin by sitting down the child comfortably in a chair with back straight and shoulders relaxed.
  2. Tell to Extend one arm straight out in front little above shoulder, with palm facing down.
  3. Ask the kid to lower head to gently rest it on the shoulder of the arm they just extended.
  4. Now with the extended hand make fist and stick out the index finger.
  5. Ask the kid to trace the shape of a sleeping “8” (infinite) with the index finger in the air.
  6. As they trace the “8”, tell to gaze fixed on the fingertip, moving slowly and smoothly. Repeat this motion for several repetitions.
  7. After completing several repetitions, switch sides. Perform daily for improvement in focus, concentration, and eye contact.
