More tips for feeding healthy food recipes for 1 year old baby:

Don’t force your child to eat:

This is the time when kids start recognising different flavours and figure out what they like and dislike. So, don’t force the child to eat something if they don’t like it, even if it is highly nutritious. Find other ways of preparation or change the ingredients.

Food should be simple and easy on the stomach:

The foods should be easy to chew and digest. In addition to this, avoid providing bigger pieces of food that may result in choking.

Ensure the food is cool before serving:

Do not feed foods that are hot to babies. Always check the temperature before feeding.

Avoid – excess salt, spices, sugar:

Adding too much salt and sugar can be heavy to process and causes harm to the immature kidneys. Also, too many spices can cause irritation in a baby’s digestive system.

Keep an eye on the child, if they are self feeding:

Babies learn to self-feed at this phase, so make sure they are under supervision. Do not just hand over the food and engage in your daily chores, instead teach them how to eat to prevent choking of food.
