Steps to Perform Thoppukaranam:
- Make the child stand upright with feet slightly apart, and arms relaxed at sides.
- Ask the child to catch right ear lobes with left hands index finger and middle finger and vice versa. Criss crossing both hands.
- Now tell the child to breathe in and go down in squat position.
- And exhale while coming back to the standing position.
- Ask them to keep the hands crossed, holding the ear lobes while performing the whole movement.
- Repeat the drill for 10-12 times while inhaling and exhaling.
